In 2023, Spotify was preparing to rebrand Anchor as Spotify for Podcasters: the go-to location for podcasters to learn how to grow their audiences and more on the Spotify platform. The S4P team asked Active Theory / Buttermax (with me as producer) to help update their site’s creative using the new branding, but this was much more than just a redesign.
This project required our devs to use a publishing platform we weren’t used to, and it required us to get clever with ways to inject Javascript to keep things interesting and interactive, while still being informative. Our backend team also had their work cut out for them: we had to integrate a translation GDN into the platform to localize the content into 9 different languages, remap URLs for the index pages and dozens of articles that we migrated over from the old site, and enable search in the articles too.
