Puppy Love was tasked with creating an unforgettable virtual experience for the re-release of the Motorola razr, bringing the iconic flip phone back into the public consciousness with cutting edge technology and flair. As the project manager, I led the execution of a custom website and exclusive app that debuted the new device with a short film featuring Julia Garner (produced by Motorola’s agency, directed by Luke Gilford).
A select group of influencers were sent a gift box full of swag and ingredients for a mocktail. Guests were welcomed by a bartender who instructed them to make their drinks to enjoy during the premiere. Animations linked to parallax scroll showed off the features of the new phone, a websocket connection between the website and mobile VR app, and six custom Instagram AR filters made for an engaging and immersive experience.
